Nested in with the Filter panel is the Collections panel. Since none of them use portrait orientation, the Portrait option will not be displayed in the Orientation category. For example, it may be that all of the images in the folder use landscape orientation. The options you see are based on the images in your currently-selected folder. That’s because the Filter panel in Bridge is dynamic. Note that you won’t always see every filtering option listed. Then click on any of the filter options in the category to select them. To use the Filter panel, click on the various category headings to open and close them. We can even filter images by camera model or the particular lens that was used. We can use the Filter panel to filter images by keyword, the date created, whether the image is in landscape or portrait orientation, by aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings, focal length, and lots more. But that’s nothing compared with what the Filter panel can do. Earlier, we saw that we can filter images displayed in the Content panel based on their star rating. To remove a keyword, select the image in the Content panel, then uncheck the keyword.īelow the Favorites and Folders panel on the left of Bridge is the Filter panel. You can assign multiple keywords to the same image. Then, click inside the checkbox of the keyword you want to assign. To assign an existing keyword to an image, select the image in the Content panel. To add a new keyword, click the New Keyword button at the bottom, then type in your keyword. Later, when we need to find those images again, we can search for them by their keywords. The Keywords panel lets us create descriptive keywords and assign them to images. The Keywords panel is nested in beside the Metadata panel. Use the scroll bar along the right to scroll through all the details. The Metadata panel can also be used to add additional details to the image, like our copyright and contact info. We can also view the image’s color mode and bit depth, or whether or not the flash fired, and lots more. We can view the shot date, the camera settings that were used, and the file size and type. The Metadata panel displays everything we’d want to know about an image. Both of these panels are extremely valuable. To view all of your images once again, click on the Filter Items by Rating icon and choose Clear Filter from the top of the menu.īelow the Preview panel on the right are the Metadata and Keywords panels nested together in a group. Or, we can view only images with our without a color label assigned to them. We can also choose to view only rejected images, or images with no rating. Images with fewer than 5 stars, or no rating at all, are temporarily hidden. And now, only those three images with a 5 star rating remain in the Content panel. Selecting a region changes the language and/or content on view only my 5 star images, I’ll choose Show 5 Stars. If it is disabled, you also have an option on the Missing fonts dialog itself to enable Adobe Fonts. InCopy’s missing fonts dialog displays whether Adobe Fonts service is enabled in the Creative Cloud application. If a missing font is part of a style, you can update the font in that style by changing its style definition. You can choose Type > Find Font to find and change missing fonts. If a TrueType font is installed and the document contains a Type 1 (T1) version of the same font, the font is displayed as missing. Missing fonts for which others have been substituted will appear at the top of the Type > Font menu in a section marked “Missing Fonts.” By default, text formatted with missing fonts appears in pink highlighting. When this happens, you can select the text and apply any other available font. InCopy substitutes missing fonts with an available font. If you select text that uses a missing font, the Character panel or Control panel indicates that this font is missing by displaying it in brackets in the font style pop‑up menu. When you open or place documents that include fonts not installed on your system, an alert message appears, indicating which fonts are missing.
